GRADING!

The Sheldon Numerical Grading Scale or MS Grading System is universally accepted by numismatists for assigning a numerical grade to individual coins in any condition. The scale extends from #1 - #70. The numbers below MS-60 apply to circulated coins and are usually not investment grade with the exception of early type and key date coins. MS-60 through MS70 represent uncalculated coins and are generally considered investment grade, however, many truly rare coins do not exist in these higher grades. Many of NCE's clients most creative and profitable acquisitions have been NCE's rare coins that exist only in circulated grades.
